About Lori
About Lori Goldman, MFT
In our work together, we’ll focus on unwinding the conditioning and stories that may be holding you back, allowing you to reconnect with your unique inner self and build an authentic and nourishing life. I use a range of therapeutic modalities tailored to your needs, including somatic therapy, depth-oriented work, mindfulness, and relational healing, to address old patterns and heal relational wounds. By exploring both the body and the mind, we’ll untangle the past from the present, helping you step into the freedom of living from your true essence and tapping into your core strengths. Whether you’re dealing with trauma or simply desiring to live your best life, I will support you through every step of the process.
I’ll also support you to develop practical relational skills and tools so you can deeply listen to your inner truth and feel safe expressing all aspects of yourself—in your relationships, career, family, and beyond.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and I hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies, with a focus on Somatic Psychotherapy. I bring over 16 years of experience working with adults, children, teens, and parents to support healing and positive change. In my practice, I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to be yourself and explore what you need.
I know personally what it’s like to feel disconnected or uncertain, and this understanding shapes my work. My own journey has taught me that each of us has unique strengths, even in the places we struggle most. I’m here to help you see and appreciate the full picture of who you are and what you can bring to your world.
Together, we’ll create a space where you can explore, grow, and reclaim parts of yourself that may have felt hidden or overlooked. I truly believe in the power of the therapist-client relationship to foster real change, and I’m committed to helping you find a path that feels authentic and achievable, one step at a time.
